Business Services: 608 NORTH is located in a one-hundred year old lumber mill in Redondo Beach, California. The inspiration to turn a run-down, 1800 square foot retail space into an art gallery came from the artists next door at “Cannery Row Studios.â€
As a building contractor, my only artistic ability is in construction and I have been told that the completed upgrades created an inviting space to display and view various types of art. Our main gallery is more than 700 square feet of bright, open space. The second gallery is approximately 350 square feet of space up 3 steps from the main gallery. The entire space has high ceilings made of 100 year old exposed roof rafters and beams.
Our objective is to display and make available to the public a variety of art styles by many local, national and internationally known artists.
In addition to this, 608 NORTH has a Gift Shop filled with unique and hard-to-find items, hand picked buy us. Many of the items in the Gift Shop are hand-crafted by artists.
